Yesterday we trialled an early version of TrackTalker, the nose-tracking communication tool being developed by Dan Brittain. We were curious to see whether this technology could work for Becky — and while there is still a lot to refine, the initial results were really encouraging.

Yesterday was a huge day for Becky. After months of planning, creating, and hoping, we finally launched the #HelpBeckySpeak campaign — a global appeal to find the technology and expertise she needs to communicate more fully again.

…the night before the party, everything changed. Becky began to feel unwell at work and called her husband to take her home. What seemed like a severe migraine quickly worsened. Knowing something was seriously wrong, she went to hospital — and within hours, she was diagnosed with a massive stroke.
