This campaign is dedicated to helping Becky, who is living with Locked-In Syndrome, regain the ability to communicate through advanced assistive technology. Every step we take brings us closer to giving her a voice and restoring her independence.

About Becky

My friend has Locked-In Syndrome caused by a massive stroke in the middle of her brain, which she suffered in July 2023. She was very poorly for a long time and is now stable but she desperately needs help to communicate. Currently she can nod, shake her head, move her left foot and thumb but it's all incredibly tiring. So for her to talk she has to spell each word out individually. This is painfully slow and hard for her.

Current NHS support hasn’t given her the communication tools she desperately needs. We’re searching for innovators, tech creators, charities, and anyone around the world who can help Becky find a faster, more dignified way to connect with us again.

Becky always had a brilliant creative mind, working with top companies. Now she needs your help.

She was an incredibly talented person who brought about real change at the many great companies all over the UK she work with. So I'm hoping that someone gets this message and will be able to help us make some vital improvements to her life.
